Welcome to our home in beautiful South Haven. We are thrilled to share our piece of this special place with you. For years, our kids have loved coming to Michigan, building on a family tradition. We fell in love with this area for its lakeshore hospitality and natural scenic surroundings, where Lake Michigan truly shapes the pace and personality of South Haven.

Check-in
- The entry has a coded deadbolt. You will receive a custom entry code before arrival. If you have any troubles getting in please message the host.
Check-out
- We handle the deep cleaning!
- Please load and start the dishwasher and put used kitchen & bath towels in the tub.
- Please empty the fridge and freezer of all items.
- Please put all household trash and recycling in the bins next to the garage.
- If used, all beach gear should be rinsed and returned to the garage.
- If used, beach towels should be washed and dried (wash on cold, dry on low).
- Please put deck cushions in the deck box (largest cushion can go inside the house).
- Please close and lock all windows and doors and turn off fans and AC. Safe travels!
Trash Collection
A Trash Valet service will roll out trash/recycling bins on Mondays, and retrieve them on Tuesdays. Trash pick up is on Tuesdays. Please place all household trash and recycling in the bins next to the garage.
📜 House Rules & Rental Agreement
Please respect our home and neighbors by adhering to the following rules:
No Smoking or Illegal DrugsSmoking is strictly prohibited inside the home and within 20 feet of the premises. Violation will incur additional cleaning fees.
No Parties or EventsLarge gatherings and parties are prohibited. Violation will result in immediate eviction and additional cleaning fees.
Guest LimitsAdditional guests or visitors are prohibited without the host's permission. Violations will result in additional fees and possible eviction.
Quiet Hours10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to respect our neighbors.
No PetsPets are not allowed on the property. Violation will incur additional cleaning fees.
No FirearmsFor the safety of all guests, firearms are not permitted inside the home.
Trash DisposalTrash and recycling bins are located next to the garage. Michigan offers bottle deposits on some items.
Commercial UseNo commercial use is allowed for photography or otherwise without permission.
Note on Cameras: There are outdoor cameras for security and safety purposes located on the garage, front and rear of the house, and a doorbell camera on the garage.

- Well Stocked Kitchen: Includes microwave, 5-burner stove with griddle, oven, dishwasher, K-cup maker, drip coffee maker, water boiler, toaster, in-sink water purifier, fridge, freezer (no ice-maker), and children's utensils/plates.
- Dining: Table for eight inside.
- Deck: Six seater table, three seater sofa, two armchairs, umbrella. (Store cushions in deck box).
- Beach Gear & Towels: Chairs, wagon, sand toys in the garage. Use keypad on large garage door. Please wash beach towels on cold/dry low before checkout. Note: The two bikes in the garage are not in working condition—please do not use.
- AC/Heating: Central Air AND individual bedroom mini-splits for perfect sleeping temps.
- Family Friendly: Board games, sand toys, pack and play with sheets, folding bed rail, booster seat.
- Firepit & BBQ: Available May-Oct. Firewood available at nearby Shell station.

- Clementine's: American fare in a vintage setting. Famous onion rings.
- Taste: Top rated tapas, sushi, and martinis.
- The Depot: Lunch deli spot and full liquor/wine shop.
- Captain Lou’s: Lunch/dinner fish & fries right on the water watching the drawbridge. (Closed in winter).
- The Lodge: Fried pickle chips, local fish, burgers, and a solid beer list.
- New Holland Tasting Room: Innovative cocktail menu and drinks.
- Salt of the Earth (Fennville): Farm to table experience and excellent cocktails (25min drive).

- Shara Disc Golf Course & Pilgrim Haven Natural Area: Great local outdoor spots.

- Snow Control Parking (Nov 15 - Mar 15): No motor vehicles parked on city streets between 2:30am - 6:00am.
- Golf Cart Restriction: Permitted only between March 15 - Nov 15.
